gettin' lucky in kentucky!

last weekend was one of the more fun weekends of my summer. i went to louisville, ky for forecastle music festival. it was also ray's 40th birthday...we had an absolute BLAST! happy birthday ray...it was one to remember! i also got to see my friend kg who i haven't seen in ages. we didn't get to spend a ton of time together but just seeing that smile of hers was fantastic! robin, karen, and i rode together and pulled into town just in time to watch jason isbell. we went up to our room at the galt house and you could see the small stage of the festival from our balcony...and hear perfect. we didn't even have to leave our room. saturnday we saw the black crowes>panic. that was the first time i've seen the crowes with luther dickinson and it was fantastic. the panic show was insane...papa's>protein>sewing>papa's and a bowlegged>chilly>bowlegged...need i say more? sunday we went to outformation but only stayed for about half of the show bc it was at 1pm and it was HOTTTTT!! i went back to the room for a nap after that and got up just in time for some more PANIC!!!
